What is MSC Malaysia Status?

MSC Malaysia status is a recognition conferred by the Malaysian Government as part of the MSC Malaysia initiatives designed to attract global technology companies and grooming the local ICT and ICT-enabled entities.

Fully supported by the Government, the number of MSC status company in Malaysia has been increasing over the years.  MSC status companies in Malaysia are able to enjoy various exclusive benefits which others companies are not able to.

What is MSC status company?

These are the companies accepted and recognized by the Malaysian government to be a ICT or ICT-enabled entities which will contribute the development of the MSC Malaysia’s initiatives.

MSC Malaysia status is awarded to 3 types of business entities, each with a set of different application criteria and guidelines. The qualifying business entities are:-

1. Private limited companies (i.e. Sendirian Berhad)
2. Institutions of Higher Learning
3. Incubators
